STNA literally stands for State Tested Nurse Aide; STNA Classes in Columbus Ohio are classes of the health department program which provides training on nursing subjects. These classes have become a boon to the people of Columbus city in Ohio. It includes a curriculum of 75 hours in which 59 classes are reserved for theory classes while 16 classes are reserved for clinical labs. The clinical labs are taken at their partner’s clinical site, where in you are allowed to handle almost everything by which you can gain confidence to deal with real life patients. Under this course they teach subjects related to nursing which includes, disease management, interpersonal, communication, nursing aide, patient handling, mobility, ageing, death, dying, hygiene, signs and symptoms of diseases, etc. These classes are taken and are successfully completed within a period of 75 hours and hence they are arranged throughout the year. Also they have flexible schedules as they undertake classes in three batches, morning batch, evening batch and afternoon batch.
Although these classes are divided into different batches and categories, the subjects taught and the fees taken are same, the only difference is the timing. Even the labs conducted are same. Only the speed at which they complete the classes varies, and hence the choice is all yours to choose the classes of your flexibility. Their timings give chance to almost every one as they can do the job or other things too along with studying this course.
Under morning batch category, the classes are taken from morning 8 AM to evening 4 PM, the classes are completed within morning sessions and hence this batch has been named as morning batch. Also these classes run from Monday to Friday and the course is completed within 2 weeks. This is the fastest batch as the classes get over within a week and hence this batch is also called as accelerated batch or accelerated course. For evening batch the classes are taken in evenings from 5.30 PM to 10.30 PM, from Monday to Friday. This batch last for 4 weeks, in which 3 weeks are donated for classrooms and last week, is donated for labs. For weekend batch, the classes are taken only on Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 3 PM. This batch last for 6 weeks from which 5 weeks are reserved for classrooms and 1 week is reserved for labs.
